Our Classes

At CrossFit Algonquin, our programming is designed specifically for our community. We emphasize training that will not only increase your fitness level but improve your quality of life. We aim to help the Average Joe (or Jane) unleash their inner athlete by scaling each workout. So don’t be afraid to try something new. With hard work and dedication, anything is possible!

  • CrossFit

    Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! We scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum workout every time.

  • Foundations

    Every new CrossFitter begins in our Foundations course. You’ll go through at least three one-on-one sessions with a coach and will be taught proper movement technique for all of our basic movements. The purpose of this class is to ease you into the intensity of regular CrossFit workouts and create and appreciation for safe and effective movement.

  • Open Gym

    Open Gym is a great opportunity for members to work on their weaknesses or make up a missed training session. Use the extra time to improve your performance and get better results. Come by on Sunday, the door is always open.

  • Personal Training

    Nothing gets you to your goals faster than personal training. Our experienced coaches will dive into your specific needs and work 1-on-1 to create optimal workouts that drive your success. We offer personal training in 30-minute or 1-hour slots.

  • Olympic Lifting

    Our Olympic Lifting class includes a blend of strength and technique focused workouts with the Olympic barbell lifts. The program is designed to help members progress with efficiency and strength gains.
